September 21st marked the fall solstice and with the winter months lurking ahead I have found myself nesting in preparation for the cold. As I write this, I know I am not alone. As the cold months draw near, the animal kingdom is also preparing and seeking refuge, very often in our homes. During our inspection we strive to find those little holes, cracks and crevices in your home that welcome mice in your kitchen, rats in your basement and flying squirrels in your attic. Wildlife needs only the smallest hole to squeeze through or as a starting point to chew their way into your dwelling. Once the entry and egress points are identified, we offer options to seal and close the holes accordingly. We also install chimney caps, dryer vent covers, attic fan covers as well as heating and air conditioning vent covers.
