I was invited to present two presentations to three hundred attendee’s of the NYSWMA show held in Oswego, NY February 24th and 25th. The New York State Wildlife Management Association (NYSWMA) is an organization comprised of professionals dedicated to resolving conflicts between humans and wildlife. Nuisance Wildlife Control Operators (NWCOs.) are licensed by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
The presentations titled ‘Social Media and Internet Marketing’ and ‘Marketing’ focused on marketing utilizing the internet, that is, using Inbound Marketing techniques such as, SEO, backlinks, etc. to increase your customer base and the other presentation utilizing social medias such as face book, twitter and newsletters to build a trademark and a reputation as an expert in your profession for you and your business. The presentations highlighted the fact that 78% of all adults in the USA utilize the web to investigate, purchase services and/org products; social media’s should be used as an source of information about your profession and animals in this case; and the financial aspects of internet marketing.
